Greaves who has struggled for points riding for Wolverhampton so far this season admits he is close to getting things right.
He explained: "I feel good on the bike and feel on the pace in all the meetings I have ridden in so far. The starts at this level are so important and we are putting in some long hours in the workshop to get it right.
"The fans have been great with me and I'm learning so much from my team mates who are always willing to offer advice.
I just need to make a couple of decent starts and I'm confident in my own ability to get things right. I have some great people working behind the scenes who are fully supportive of me."
Greaves travelled to the Isle of Wight on Saturday for their press and practice day.
